Affirmation Gay & Lesbian Mormons
A fellowship of LGBTQI Latter-Day Saints and their friends, family and allies who share a common bond of the Mormon experience. Our goal is to provide a supportive envirnonment and positive opportunities for social, inellectual, emotional and cultural development.

AHRC Sobriety Services PEIR Program
Support group for adults with MR/DD and/or mental illness diagnosis who identify as LGBTQ. Meets Wednesdays, 5 pm.

AIDS Community Research Initiative of America
Independent, not-for-profit, community-based research/health literacy organization. Studies promising therapies for AIDS/HIV-related diseases; conducts research geared to further understanding of HIV disease, treatment, prevention; educates affected communities through individual counseling, workshops, free publications (quarterly ACRIA Update and topic-specific booklets). Groups for families/friends of alcoholics. Gay-specific meetings for more than 20 years.

Ali Forney Center (Services for Homeless LGBTQ Youth)
New York City's largest and most comprehensive shelter, housing, and services provider of honeless LGBTQ youth. Works to empower youth to reclaim their lives and reach their full potential.

All Out Arts, Inc.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
Leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to understanding/ preventing suicide through research/education and reaching out to people with mood disorders and those impacted by suicide.

American Veterans for Equal Rights
Service organization of LGBT US armed forces service members and veterans; supporting service members and veterans rights advocacy, political action (equal benefits), VA medical benefits assistance, parade marching, community, camraderie and social events.

Armenian Gay & Lesbian Association

Arms Acres
145-bed licensed facility, providing inpatient treatment for those suffering from addiction to alcohol or drugs. Situated on tranquil 54-acre site in Putnam County, NY, 90 miles north of NYC.

AXIOS: Eastern & Orthodox LGBT Christians
Geared to help fulfill spiritual and social justice needs facing LGBT and Eastern and Orthodox Church communities. AIDS ministry outreach welcomes volunteers. Since 1982.
