AIDS Center of Queens County
Direct services for people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Services include; case management, legal advocacy, housing support, prevention/education and outreach, licensed mental health and harm reduction/syringe exchange.
AIDS Center Queens County Women of Distinction/Young Women of Distinction
Educational group addresses needs of women on topics from HIV/AIDS to stigma of living with HIV/AIDS, depression, etc. Meets Wednesdays, 4–5:30 pm.
American Veterans for Equal Rights
Service organization of LGBT US armed forces service members and veterans; supporting service members and veterans rights advocacy, political action (equal benefits), VA medical benefits assistance, parade marching, community, camraderie and social events.

Elmhurst Hospital Chemical Dependency Treatment Clinic
For HIV+ people with/without psychiatric diagnosis (major depression, dysthymia, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety disorder). Medical, psychiatric, alcohol/chemical dependence assessments, family/significant others outreach, individual/group therapy. On-site services include AA, gay/lesbian welcome. Smoke-enders group.

Resource provides information about gay-friendly automotive companies and facilitating commerce with gay-friendly companies during car-buying process.
Generation Q of the Queens Community House
LGBTQQ youth, 22 and under. Drop In Center, Mon-Thurs, 3-8 PM (2 PM on Mon.) Offering youth workshops, discussions, movies, writing group, art projects, activism, event planning, theatre, leadership skills. Socials held 1st Fridays, 7:30 pm-12 am. Dances, Queens Youth Pride.
