Provides encouragement/support on issues raised when a loved one comes out. Meets 4th Mondays, 25 Victory Blvd, 3rd Floor

Special Interest AA meeting for LGBT community. Thursdays, 7-8 pm. For AA members only.
Rainbow Families of Staten Island
Fun/support for LGBT parents/children (infants-teens). Kids play/hang out while parents discuss issues. Co-sponsored by Staten Island Children's Museum. Meets 3rd Sundays at museum at Snug Harbor.
Safe Space-The Staten Island LGBT Center
Two ongoing support groups weekly for LGBT teens 13-17. Explore/address questions about sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, coming out to family/friends, other topics relevant to healthy development in settting that is both welcoming and caring. All services services free, but participants must be interviewed by group facilitator, an LCSW
Staten Island LGBT Center
Provides LGBT individuals/families with direct local access to culturally competent, gay-oriented, LGBT-friendly services, programs, events, activities that promote physical, mental, emotional health and well being, including informattion and referral services, service navigation and advocacy, youth drop-in space, youth-oriented programming. David Bohnett Foundation Cyber Center, free/confidential mental health services, case management, resource library, workshops, discussion groups, educational forums, health programs, LGBT visibility-enhancing events, more.
