THOMPSON STATEMENT ON DEATH OF POLICE OFFICER ERIC HERNANDEZ |
| The following is a statement from New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. on the death of Police Officer Eric Hernandez:
“My prayers go out to the family and friends of Officer Eric Hernandez, who waged a brave fight for survival against overwhelming odds. Eric chose the path of public service in the belief that he could make a difference to the people of this City. May he be remembered for his energy, optimism and courage.”
