SUGAR: LGBT Diabetics
The only LGBT group for diabetics in NYC. We meet every 4th Wed. of each month, 6:30pm, at the Center. Our mission is to offer support to both newly diagnosed and seasoned diabetics, who identify as same-gender-loving people. We share "food for thoughts" through personal experiences, & provide an open space to talk about diabetic issues specific to the LGBTD community. All types of diabetes are welcome. Friends, family, parents, couples, and care takers are also welcomed. Stop by & make some new friends, and learn more about diabetes from other diabetics.

Masters level swim/water polo/diving team open to members of NYC's LGBT community. We welcome new members of all ages and experience.

Teen Outreach Prevention Service
Peer Education/Outreach program provides interactive workshops for youth 12–24 on HIV/AIDS, safer sex, STDs, reproductive health, and sexually connected to HIV counseling and testing, as well as medical, mental health and social services (see Bellevue Adolescent HIV/AIDS Clinic).

The Trevor Project
Leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among LGBT and questioning youth. Operates a free and confidential helpline, in-school workshops, educational materials, online resources and public policy advocacy.

Times Square Dance Club

Triangle Community Center
Non/profit services to help strengthen LGBT communities sense of identity, pride, visibility. Works with greater Fairfield County community to foster understanding/awareness of LGBT issues. Programming focuses on education and support including youth program for LGBTQ teens.

Trinity Place Shelter
Non-profit, non-sectarian, 10-bed transitional shelter open all year for homeless LGBTQ youth/young adults (18-24). Provides shelter, food, case management, counseling, transportation, additional support services. Intakes on agency referral only.

TwentySomething NYC
