Audre Lorde Project, The

Circle of Voices, Inc.

Gay & Lesbian Dominican Empowerment Organization (GALDE)
Founder and Executive Director Francisco Lazala. Seeks to increase the political visibility of the LGBT Dominican and other communities and to provide HIV/health awareness, educational and cultural activities.

Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD)
Education, social support, advocacy, health, wellness promotion, support, discussion groups, drop in center, HIV prevention, outreach. Capacity-building assistance.

Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC)
Outreach activities/ workgroups for LGBT youth in NYC. Open to all with particular focus on House and Ball community.

GRIOT Circle Senior Program
Gathering of Elders, intergenerational/ culturally diverse community based organization responsive to lives of older LGBT persons of all colors. Social events, education, support, recreation, fitness program.

Hispanic AIDS Forum
NYC’s largest, oldest Latino-run HIV/AIDS organization. Mission to improve health outcomes for Latinos in NYC affected by HIV and other chronic illnesses. Services attuned to special needs of homosexually active men (Entre Hombres Program), transgender women (TransLatina Program), LGBTQ youth (Youth in Action Program), offered at each of 3 service centers. Services include: rental assistance to persons living with AIDS or are symptomatic, free confidential HIV counseling/testing, referrals, case management and entitlement advocacy, free condoms/lubricants, individual/group counseling, HIV/STI education/workshops, socio-recreation activities (encuentros, youth jams, retreats).
