Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn

Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn (“LID”) strives to see LGBTQ people represented in all levels of Brooklyn politics, including elected office. LID was founded by a group of activists in Boerum Hill in early 1978 and has grown to become one of the state’s largest LGBT political clubs.
