“With today’s vote, Republicans just made the U.S. Senate a death panel. If repeal happens, lives will be lost. Americans will be devastated. And it will result in catastrophe not just for the markets, but for the people they serve. Families with pre-existing conditions, children with disabilities on Medicaid, Americans struggling with opioid addiction – all have so much at stake. This is cruel, it’s shameful, and it’s sad.”
