Statement from NYC Comptroller Scott M. Stringer on the 4th Circuit’s Ruling on President Trump’s Muslim Ban

“Today’s decision shows that this Executive Order is wrong. It’s always been a thinly veiled attempt to target people based on where they’re from and what religion they practice, and it’s deliberately designed to spread fear. These White House policies – and the fringe, ultra-right, backwards views that underpin them – are as heartbreaking as they are dangerous. We are a city and country that welcomes immigrants, and it must stay that way. That’s why the court did the right thing today.”
