“Today’s Supreme Court decision in United States v. Texas comes as a massive disappointment to the millions of undocumented immigrants affected, as well as to all of us who support comprehensive immigration reform. Instead of creating a real pathway to citizenship, this ruling upholds a policy that will tear families apart and force so many of our brothers and sisters to continue living in the shadows. Here in New York, we will continue to welcome all immigrants to our City and keep fighting for laws that allow every American to live with the dignity they deserve.”
