Request for Quotes for the Purchase of Dell EMC Unity Ongoing Maintenance (PIN 01524BIST68397)

Purpose of the Request for Quote

Pursuant to section 3-08 (c)(1)(iv) of the New York City (“City”) Procurement Policy Board (“PPB”) Rules, the New York City Office of the Comptroller (the “Comptroller’s Office” or “Comptroller”), Bureau of Information Systems and Technology (“BIST”) currently owns Dell EMC Unity equipment located at two of its locations in the City of New York, which contains support covered by the manufacturer. There is a need to continue the manufacturer’s support of the devices, effective September 20, 2023. Such services are available for purchase through a reseller that is authorized to do so by Dell Marketing LP.

Pursuant to Section 3-08 (c)(1)(iv) of the New York City Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Comptroller’s Office, is seeking responses to this RFQ from authorized resellers of Dell Services related to “EMC Unity Ongoing Maintenance.” This procurement opportunity is limited to businesses certified as a minority- or women-owned business enterprises (“M/WBEs”) pursuant to Section 1304 of the New York City Charter.
