Protecting NYC

Following the election of President Donald Trump on November 5, 2024, the Comptroller’s Office released a document assessing the risks posed by the Trump Administration to New York City’s budget, economy, infrastructure, and people. The purpose of this report, “Protecting NYC,” was to give New Yorkers a clear-eyed view of the risks and threats posed by the Trump Administration, in order to prepare to protect New York City and vulnerable New Yorkers to the greatest extent possible.
