Letter Grade Overview

DPR decreased spending with Asian American-owned firms and continued to receive failing marks with Black American-owned firms. The agency only met spending goals with Women-owned firms in the standard services category. As a result, the agency grade remained a C.

About DPR

The Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) maintains a municipal park system of more than 29,000 acres, including playgrounds, community gardens, parks, athletic fields, tennis courts, pools and beaches. DPR also looks after 600,000 street trees and two million park trees.
