Department of Small Business Services, FY 2015
September 1, 2015
M/WBE Letter Grade
Letter Grade Overview
SBS failed to achieve meaningful M/WBE spend in any procurement category. Last year, SBS exceed goals with Women-owned businesses, but this year the agency failed to meet goals for spending in any procurement category. SBS did, however, host additional industry based workshops and created an M/WBE procurement booklet – a first of its kind for the City. Despite these efforts, SBS slipped to an overall failing grade this year with less than $1 million in M/WBE spend.
