New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority Announces Details of Upcoming Bond Sales
The New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority (the “Authority”) announced today the details of its upcoming sales of tax-exempt fixed rate and variable rate bonds.
Proceeds from the sales will be used to refund certain outstanding bonds and pay for the costs of issuance.
Subject to market conditions, the Authority intends to price approximately $400 million of tax-exempt, fixed rate bonds on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, via negotiated sale through an underwriting syndicate led by book-running lead manager Barclays, with BofA Securities, Goldman Sachs, Loop Capital Markets, Raymond James, and Siebert Williams Shank serving as co-senior managers on the transaction.
Retail investors will have priority in placing orders for the fixed rate bonds during a one-day retail order period on Monday, September 14, 2026.
The Preliminary Official Statement and investor presentation related to the fixed rate bonds are expected to be available at www.bondlink.com/nyw-2027AA on or about September 3, 2026.
The Authority also intends to sell approximately $150 million of tax-exempt adjustable rate bonds during the week of September 28, 2026, pursuant to a separate Official Statement. The remarketing agent for the adjustable rate bonds is expected to be Wells Fargo.
