M/WBE Letter Grade

Letter Grade Overview

HPD has earned an A grade for its FY15 M/WBE spend. HPD’s large improvement in score is mostly due to a difference in the tabulation of the agency’s grades. This year, the Comptroller’s Office excluded non-categorized spending that had previously been included in an effort to create the fairest possible assessment of each agency’s M/WBE spending.

About HPD

Using a variety of preservation, development and enforcement strategies, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) strives to improve the availability, affordability, and quality of housing in New York City. HPD works with private, public and community partners to expand the supply and affordability of the City’s housing stock and keep people in their homes.
