M/WBE Letter Grade

Letter Grade Overview

ACS substantially surpassed the spending goal for Asian American firms in standard services and essentially met goals for goods with Women-owned businesses. However, the agency fell short in other industries within those groups, as well as with Black American and Hispanic American businesses overall, leading to a lower overall grade of C.

About ACS

The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is responsible for protecting and strengthening the city’s children, youth and families by providing quality child welfare, juvenile justice, early child care and education services.
